Baby View Privacy Policy

Baby View is a playful camera app that shows a local live visual effect intended to approximate how baby vision changes by age. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or vision-testing tool.

Data Collection

Baby View does not sell personal data and does not use tracking or advertising identifiers.

The native app requests camera access only so it can display the live camera preview with a local visual effect. Camera frames are processed on your device. Baby View does not record videos, save camera media to your photo library, upload camera frames, or send camera content to any server. If you choose to share, Baby View creates a temporary filtered image for the native share sheet. The public website is a landing page and does not request camera access.

The public website uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate landing-page traffic and basic page interactions. This analytics setup is for website performance and product discovery only; it is not used for advertising, cross-site tracking, or camera-content collection.

If you buy Baby View Pro, purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play billing and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription-status information, product identifiers, anonymous app user identifiers, store transaction identifiers, device/app technical information, and related diagnostics needed to unlock and restore Pro.

Baby View does not create accounts in the MVP and does not ask for name, email, phone number, contacts, precise location, health data, or photos from your library.

Permissions

Baby View requests camera permission.

The app does not request microphone, location, contacts, photo library, tracking, advertising identifier, or account permissions.

Analytics and Advertising

The native app does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or tracking technologies.

The public website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate website analytics. Baby View does not use advertising SDKs or advertising identifiers.

RevenueCat is used only for app functionality: checking Pro entitlement status, making purchases, and restoring purchases.

Data Deletion

Baby View does not create app accounts. Camera frames and shared captures are processed locally and are not uploaded, so there is no camera media stored by Baby View to delete.

For purchase, subscription, or privacy data requests, contact support@babyview.app. We may need information such as your store account transaction details or RevenueCat anonymous app user identifier to locate purchase-related records. Some purchase and transaction records may need to be retained by Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, or Baby View when required for billing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or legal compliance.

Children

Baby View is a general-audience app. It is not directed specifically to children and should not be submitted under a children-only or Kids category unless the product direction changes and the privacy/compliance review is repeated.

Changes

If Baby View's data practices change, this policy should be updated before submitting a new app version.
